So what happened last night at the Climate Forum: A Rebuttal?!

Well, here are the details (a thread):
Yesterday, at the invitation of the Georgetown College Republicans, the CO2 Coalition offered to present two speakers, Dr. Caleb Rossiter and Dr. Patrick Michaels. The Coalition had been tabling in GU's "free speech zone" aptly named "Red Square" during the day.
There were many individuals and students that expressed interest in attending. When the event kicked off, however, several students decided to not follow student conduct guidelines and "protest" the event by screaming and shouting down the speakers.
Since the interruptions were a violation of student conduct, GUCR called campus police to intervene. The police showed up and tried to reason with the protesters but they refused to comply and continued to shout, scream, and blow air horns.
One protester was heard yelling: "You're killing us all!" While another tried to interrupt the police and wave protest signs around them. They were promptly removed.
The Georgetown University Police then ordered everyone out of the room and would let individuals in one at a time after conducting bag checks to ensure the safety of those speaking and those putting on the event.
When everyone had returned, a GU Admin reiterated that interrupting speakers on campus was a violation of student conduct and students could expect to face suspension for violating it. Surprisingly, the former screaming protesters remained quiet and orderly and...
took turns raising their hands to ask questions.

Ultimately, the questions arise:

Where is the civility in debate? What happened to intellectual respectability?

It seems that those on the opposing side of the #ClimateDebate are not concerned with discussion and only fervor.
