Labour Conf antics shouldn't distract us from fact that Brexiters are literally lining up to demand HMG breaks law, defies courts, tramples on Parliament. Speed at which "conservative" hard right being radicalised into full scale authoritarian movement is truly frightening.
But even worse? How hard right politicians and vile press allies are deliberately seeking to con & frighten millions of ordinary citizens into same process of radicalisation. Wilfully stoking anger, resentment & division that will take generation+ to heal. Unforgiveable.
Well said, re "just break the law" hypocrisy. Whatever happened to usual Express/Mail/Telegraph screeches of "lock 'em up and throw away the key" or "hanging's too good for 'em"? Oh wait - what's that we hear now? Four legs good, two legs bad, four legs good, two legs bad, baahhh
