MEETINGS are destroying the planet. Primitive weirdos forcing people to drive across town to sit in a room and breath each other’s pheromones when they could have telecommuted.
If only people who actually needed to physically inhabit the workplace drive to work we would be in a utopian paradise overnight.
But these maniac vampiric lich bosses want to smell your farts and burps while they monitor you. We need to apply massive penalties to businesses that force their workers to drive to work to do jobs they could do from home.

I wasn't inclined to tweet about #Kashmir, but after seeing the amount of disinformation, I am going to.

I'm back in the newsroom today after a week in Srinagar.

Things are NOT normal.

People are seething. Kashmir is likely a tinderbox waiting for a spark.
When I got there on Monday, just hours after Article 370 was abrogated, the city was locked down.

I walked a km to find the nicest auto-wallah in the land.

He didn't have a clue of what had happened, why his city had overnight turned into ghost town -- blanketed with security.
Later that evening, we spoke to @shahfaesal in his living room.

Since satellite TVs were still working, news had trickled in.

“We might see an eruption when the guard is down."

“People are taking it as an act of humiliation.”

Then, the pelting began.

It has been suggested that Private Equity firm KKR is responsible for #CafeCoffeDay founder #VGSiddhartha's suicide.

The firm has come under scanner in our research in many aspects of National Security as well.

As per the report MO of foreign PE firms like KKR is to borrow money from Indian Banks at 8-9% and then lend it to Indian businesses at a whopping 20-25% - the high rates of interest makes it difficult for native business to survive or remain profitable to repay the lenders.
KKR is the second largest foreign PE investor in #CCD with 6.07% (1.28 crore shares) after selling approx 4.25% in Feb 2018, making at the time 10.3%. Foreign investors together hold 22.35% stake in #CafeCoffeeDay valued at Rs 724 crore.
