Incredible that Johnson & Co *still* repeat preposterous claim that "no deal" is their great bargaining chip. View from Paris? It's really not. UK is free to "take back control" by plunging itself into chaos if it wants but don't blame EU27 for UK's own wanton, reckless stupidity
As for equally preposterous claim by Johnson & Co that 31 Oct (or indeed any other date) is "the end of Brexit"? Much bemusement in Paris: if only it were the end! But this tedium / torture will still be boring us / consuming you for years if not decades. Brexit = just the start.
Outside observers see exactly what we see in UK: Johnson & Co deliberately turning up pressure cooker, not just through irresponsibility, but as deliberate strategy - stir nationalist anger, provoke opposition too. "It's sad, UK is victim of crisis entirely fabricated by own Gov"
