This is why liberals need to ditch the idea that the military and police are their enemies, and start being the party of law & order.

I think a civil war is very unlikely, but more stochastic terrorism - attacks like El Paso, Pittsburgh, etc. - is highly likely.

Liberals need to focus on fighting that threat to public order. Protests and rebellion have their place, but they're not going to stop terrorists.
The point of these tweets is not to say we should excuse racism or brutality by cops, or that we should send our military to fight wars.

Instead, we should get rid of Nazi and white supremacist ideology within military and police ranks, and sic them on right-wing terrorists.
The U.S. Military has done a generally good job seeking out and purging white supremacist ideology in its ranks.

The police, less so. But we can push them to emulate the military's approach.
