1) i’ve been putting this thread off for some time because i once saw this band play a tiny gig in a dive bar in front of about 100 people. pains me to see what they've become.

let’s look into how musicians influence more than you realize, with a focus on younger generations...

2) you don’t see many bands sky rocket to fame like @the1975 did. from touring small venues to headlining festivals in a year or so. i mean, they are talented musicians and can put on a show, but you need a machine to push you that far that fast.

3) it’s almost like this group of guys could not be a better fit. almost like they were born for it... or (at least one was) born into it. frontman and public face of the band, matt healy, actually was. both of his parents are celebrities in the UK. kind of like miley, etc...

4) you may not have heard of this band if you’re ~30+ or so (convenient?) but they certainly are HUGE among the youths. how huge? they sell out venues like MSG for 2 nights in a row. they draw crowds like this at festivals. think about what mental state most are in during those?

5) so what do you do when you have this type of audience? you feature greta thunberg on a single release to push an agenda on your young, naive, impressionable, adoring fans.

this is what they released recently. the comments just prove how effective.

6) what else? let’s take a peek at some of the content the frontman has been posting lately…. accomplishing more than one agenda? obviously… yes

and there's that antifa shirt again...

7) but wait.... there's more. another band (U.S. based) has had a similar, astronomical rise that almost mirrors the 1975.

that band is called @thisisLANY. music sounds the same. similar front man. he actually dated @DUALIPA for a brief minute. well that's when it all changed...

i'd put money on this band getting political as can be in the coming year or two.

it's amazing that when you search for this you are bombarded with "DEBUNKED" videos and articles... but there's nothing to debunk 🤷‍♂️
