At the risk of veering into Tom Friedman territory: On the ride-share home to Brooklyn, the driver, a Palestinian immigrant from the Old City of Jerusalem, said he voted for Trump in '16 and is tempted to again. He appreciated a U.S. pol *admitting* he hates Muslims.
He was convinced every president would be bad and do bad things in the Middle East any way. He appreciated Trump's honesty.
