This video of Rep. Rashida Tlaib should be the top story of the week. She is advocating for explicitly racist hiring practices and makes it clear that she believes non-black people can’t tell black people apart. Dems should be asked if they support this.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig says "it’s insulting" @RashidaTlaib implied white analysts can’t do their jobs professionally. He wonders why she doesn’t face pressure to resign, "if I’d made a similar statement people would be calling for my resignation."
I have immense respect for Detroit Police Chief James Craig for how he handled such ridiculous racism from Rep. @RashidaTlaib. Send these to the press & force them to ask every elected Democrat if they support or disavow Rashida’s racist bullying demands to a black Police Chief.
