On aggregate*, the polls show movement toward impeachment.

But! Our second HuffPost/YouGov poll since Pelosi's announcement finds support for impeachment at 44/40. Last week was 47/39. That's within MoE, so I wouldn't take it as a dip, necessarily. But also certainly doesn't suggest support is going to continue to grow at same pace.
Two things HAVE changed over last week.
First, attention to the story is continuing to rise. 51% now say they've heard a lot about Ukraine call, up from 37% a week ago.

The other thing that's changed: GOP coalescing around a defense. In last week’s poll, 43% of Reps said they thought most U.S. politicians would be willing to ask a foreign government to investigate a political opponent; in the most recent survey, that number rose to 63%.
