So @john_mcguirk and @rowanwcroft are working hand in first trying to stir up racial tensions in Carrickmacross. Might come as no surprise the Catholic homophobic ex-British soldier will find common cause with Catholic fundementalists at Gript.

It's certainly instructive to look at who us sharing in on Twitter just as it comes out.

And surprise it conspiracy accounts and far right accounts.
Tagged are the fascists with Justin Barrett, Croft etc.

He make no effort in the piece just to query that assertion or find out if it's true.
Wants us to believe he is 'reporting facts' when he is merely repeating opinion *from an anonymous source*

Piece references an alledged assault against a woman. Shouldn't need to be said that anyone sexually assaulted should get proper support and care needed.

Here is proof that the far right National Party are orchestrating online to stir up racial tensions in Carrickmacross. A secret Facebook group set up on Thursday 3rd Oct has over 1000 members. Has the same name as McGuirks linked petition

One admin is David O Rourke. Its clear he's a National Party supporter and possibly member. On Thursday when page is set up he comments "respect to the National Party" while sharing NP posts.

You can see that here.

Of course McGuirks and Gripts 'journalism' missed this.

Woah.... Gript/John McGuirk *did* mention the Facebook group. Just didn't mention fact that the admin was a supporter/member of Justin Barretts extremist org.

Gript provided a link *directly to the group* in essence promoting an NP front.

He's right. He and Gript are actively promoting a National Party racist front FB group, dressed up a a 'concerned citizens' initiative.

In less than two mins investigation into the group admin, I find this.

A further two minutes of simple clicks find other direct connecting to Justin Barretts National Party. The partner of a National Party supporter or member is also an admin.

McGuirk is in hometurf in Monaghan and he knows the lie of the land. So why is he not mentioning NP ?

Remember the name Connor Zorba/Connor Rafferty. He was mentioned in the IT report on Oughterard by @SorchaPollak and @ConorGallaghe_r as FB anti immigrant hate organiser

Here he is naming a specific person as setting up the Carrickmacross page.

And yup it seems this a count did indeed set up the group @john_mcguirk and @griptmedia described as "residents"But according to Facebook profile, this person is based in Dublin.
Nothing suggest person is far right. Everything suggests they are not a resident of Carrickmacross.

Breaking: Coming back to this with new developments. The National Party admins of the closed Facebook group are directing people to a new FB group about Carrickmacross.

It is no exaggeration to say the description is the vilest of stuff I've seen yet.

Local people in #Carrickmacross are calling out the admins in the closed Facebook group set up to stir racial tensions.

Here is evidence it was set up to do just that. Locals calling "Sharon Gold" admin is a fake profile

The admins - people who do the censoring and banning people from the #Carrickmacross group- as research shows above include far right members of Barretts National Party. Sharing Gemma O Doherty's hate.

The National Party admins seem to be facing a backlash from local community in #carrickmacross and people are calling out deliberate censorship and shit stirring by the far right.

Far-right activists are exploiting concerns about the safety of women and children to target Muslims and ethnic minorities, the first major report by the new Commission for Countering Extremism in the UK has found.

So I started this thread looking at the links and overlaps between the Catholic fundementalists at @griptmedia and far right agitators like Rowan Croft.

Like clockwork here is the Burkean that Declan Ganley helped get up and running, McGuirk wrote for and later distanced.

In the article, it's a warmed up version of the stuff pumped out by Gearoid Murphy, Gript etc. But is show clearly the shared ideology, analysis and tactics

Tho murphys anti immigrant hate videos are build on his ongoing harrassment of women because they are community workers.
