1) Real Clear waited an extra week for the IBD poll to come out, to completely revamp the qualifying polls in their average. You shouldn’t get too worried about the results as there are a few important things to keep in mind that the media will never admit.
2) there are now only 4 polls in the entire average and the latest poll is one that I don’t even count in my average because it’s a garbage poll. I’m fact when I talked about Bernie’s worst pollsters I didn’t even include it because I don’t even consider it a real poll.
3) It’s the Investor’s Business Daily poll and it’s always had Bernie ridiculously low. It’s never had Bernie polling over 12% all year and is a supposed national poll of only 341 voters. Total joke of a poll. Also despite what some will probably try to say, it’s pre heart issue
4) It’s from 9/26 to 10/3, which btw implies they polled less than 50 people a day. And Bernie in the hospital was reported on 10/2.
5) after that Real Clear is using the pro Warren YouGov poll and once again using the wrong numbers as they consistently and purposefully do with YouGov. Then we have Monmouth which we all know about. And finally morning Consult which is the only poll of the 4 that isn’t biased
6) or sketchy as hell with their demo breakdowns. It’s pretty clear what real Clear was doing btw. They removed a bunch of polls at once after sitting on the same polls for a while, even tho the polls weren’t all the same age, because they saw an opportunity to have Warren and
7) Biden neck and neck in average and to make bernie look bad before any other polls come out. I’m sure we will now see a lot of coverage on tv today about how Warren and Biden are now tied and Bernie has fallen, when in reality Biden is still polling in the lead and Bernie
8) is unchanged as of now. It’s the ultimate sign of cherry picking by Real Clearwater they noticed that if they revamped their qualifying date threshold, they could get results that they normally couldn’t because of the timing of which pollsters came out last
9) but I guarantee you that despite none of the polls in the average really coming after the health scare for Bernie, they will still try to tie it to his hospital stay
