On side issues in #elxn43 (that I’d rather not spend time on)...
Promises about camping, museums, kids’ hockey, etc. are all just expensive distractions and I’d rather not spend time and energy on this in an election debate.

On citizenship of the PM, I think it matters you are a citizen. That’s all. There is no logical reason to be suspicious of someone who has spent (or is able to spend) time living outside Canada. But...

But I also recognize that many CDNs don’t spend as much time as I with people who have lived and worked around the world. 60% of CDNs hold a valid passport, but many CDNs have never left Canada. We should be able to talk about this without insulting people.
And for the record, I don’t care what colour your socks are, how you fix your hair.
