Kerr has plenty of opinions he's willing to share about immigration, gun control, and other topics. But apparently he has no opinions about China's mass detention of Muslims, widespread repression of civil rights, and Hong Kong's struggle for freedom. theguardian.com/sport/2018/jun…

What happens to the 70k radicalized ISIS family members living in al-Hol guarded by the Kurds when the fragile stability in the region melts down? The Kurds warned *3 days ago* that they were already strained on resources to control and defend the camp.
The idea that ISIS has been eradicated is a myth. Trump wants it to be true, but it isn’t.

What happens to those captured ISIS fighters? If you think they will all remain in captivity and Turkey will just seamlessly assume control/guard them, I have a bridge to sell you.

Many things can be true at the same time:
-the media is partisan
-Schiff lied and broke congressional rules by not sharing classified info w/ the committee
-Many dems have wanted to impeach from day 1

All true.

None of them affect whether the allegations themselves are true.
It’s important—and necessary—to point out that ppl like Schiff who claim to fight for democratic norms are lying and disregarding the rules.

All of the bad faith on the other side and in the media doesn’t affect the underlying veracity of the allegations themselves.
At the end of the day, when you consider the meat of the allegations themselves, the question is: “where’s the lie though?”

And, if those allegations are true, is what is alleged okay?

The replies to this calling *Mattis* a "coward" and a "wimp" are a great example of how unhinged some people have become in the Trump era.

He doesn't criticize sitting presidents. Obama fired Mattis without even a phone call, and Mattis was silent about him until he left office.
(Which isn't to say that this was a dodge based on that principle alone, either. Sticking to issues directly related to his public service is something Mattis has done in countless interviews unrelated to Trump.)

Seems like people interpreted my last tweet about this as being negative or inferring that I thought the update is bad. What I really meant though, was that I literally have questions about this. Here are my questions so far:
The top blue bar identified Facebook for years.

The new top nav is white, and seems to get lost in the rest of the UI.

Why did they drop the blue bar?

One of these images is *clearly* FB. The other image could be anything else.
Does visual recognizability matter when you're as big as Facebook?

As startups you generally want to do *something* to stand out in the sea of apps and websites, but maybe there's a point where it just literally doesn't matter if the UI is white, light gray, and startup-blue.

#Today's story to #EndFamilySeparation Four months ago, Dad and 4-month-old entered at the Texas/Mexico border and requested #asylum. Dad and child were immediately separated and the baby put in ORR custody. #FamiliesBelongTogether
Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
The Mom and Dad now have once weekly Skype calls with their 8-month-old baby. That's right, folks. They Skype with an infant. #EndFamilySeparation #FamiliesBelongTogether
