Here's a thought:
Brexiters want to deliver Brexit, except not as the second it happens everyone will see them for the liars they are.
So what if Johnson announced the UK has left on 1/11
-a f*** law/Parlmt trumpy *not in accordance w/ U

Not sure the EU cld accept a withdrawal announced by govt w/o Parliamentary approval ("Autocratic traitors not letting us leave!")

I've always thought the plan was bigger than just the UK.
I keep thinking this govt will avoid the immediate damage of no deal Brexit not to be blamed for it.
I may be wrong, tho -just a thought.
But maybe we're wrong to stick to rational possibilities

While looking at #ExtinctionRebellion hashtag, I bumped into quite a few hateful far right accounts quoting an account called @ AmyMek.
Does that name rings a bell?

The only thing is, I couldn't read Amy's tweet.
Why?
Because what she posts is breaking the law in my country.
So she's not allowed on my timeline.
I cannot be exposed to her lawbreaking content.

Twitter is actually bound to respect the laws of the country it operates in -when officially notified said law have been broken.
Was any account stirring up hate -also illegal in the UK- withheld following a valid legal request?

Here's my thread of thoughts about the Brexit shambles. Sorry for the medical analogy, but it's sort of my thing.
Imagine you have a dodgy gall bladder. It occasionally flares up and causes pain and that sucks, so you go to a doctor for help to have it removed.
During that consultation, your doctor says they can remove the gall bladder and presents you with a consent form to sign. It contains largely incorrect information about the potential risks and problems involved, as well as a long list of unbelievable benefits of the surgery.

The Brexit vote was against our London-centric system. So if there's an economic hit because of a Brexit London voted against, Westminster would make sure the London Banking sector survived but everywhere else...
Many of the problems that pushed people to vote Brexit had nothing to do with the EU. One of those problems was the government choosing to protect the banks who caused the crash with bailouts while ordinary people just got austerity.
The rich took irresponsible risks with the country's future, but they were protected either by moving their money away or by the government and it was those with least who suffered the most.
