@laurieontech @jhooks +1 replacing .map(fn) with .map(x => fn(x)) for readability. My rule of thumb for JavaScript lately is that if you can't clearly "see" where an argument is coming from, you're trying too hard to FP in JS
@laurieontech @jhooks I'll also take

function foo() {
return a(b(c()))
}

over

let foo = compose(a, b, c)

any day
@laurieontech @jhooks compose(
branch(checkAuth, renderLoggedIn, renderLoggedOut),
branch(checkReady, renderRoute, renderLoading),
branch(isHome, renderHome, renderDetails),
)

Congrats, you invented if statements
@laurieontech @jhooks There are plenty good ideas in FP but for some reason we get stuck writing these mindbenders in JavaScript because of that warm fuzzy first class function feeling. It's ok to feel it and move on
@laurieontech @jhooks Anyway, *my* JavaScript only uses Peano numbers
@laurieontech @jhooks add Zero b = b
add (Zucc a) b = Zucc (add a b)
