Some leeches in the @PoliceNG have struck again.

Sixty One Thousand Naira (N61,000) was extorted from Emmanuel in Akure, Ondo State on Thursday, Oct 10, 2019 at about 9:41pm.

While passing through Akure to another state on a mission, some officers of the @PoliceNG who were allegedly identified as IGP SQUAD decided to arrest innocent people on the road. They raided with an 18-seater grey colored bus with private number plate.

These IGP SQUAD of the @PoliceNG picked up Emmanuel while he was about to board a taxi on Thursday, Oct 9, 2019 in Akure.

The IGP SQUAD then took Emmanuel and others they had picked up to the SACS Office close to FUTA Northgate, but the SACS Office rejected them.

After the SACS Office had rejected them, the IGP SQUAD then took them to the SARS Office, Oda Road, opposite Shoprite Mall, Akure.

On the second day, they took along these 'arrested innocent Nigerians' and headed towards Osun state.

On their way to Osun State, the IGP SQUAD of the @PoliceNG periodically released some of the 'arrested innocent Nigerians' who were able to pay the amount they demanded from them.

The IGP SQUAD demanded TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA (N200,000) from Emmanuel.

The IGP SQUAD of the @PoliceNG collected SIXTY ONE THOUSAND NAIRA (N61,000) from Emmanuel after he negotiated with them.

Find, attached, the proof of payment into the account given by the officers.

Two different accounts were provided by the officers.

The @PoliceNG IGP SQUAD threatened Emmanuel and warned him not to report.

They claimed the account number belong to some people in Kogi and Edo State but Emmanuel confirmed that he saw them receiving the alert before he was finally dropped off at about 10pm.

This @PoliceNG IGP SQUAD raid occurred around 8pm on Wednesday, Oct 9, 2019.

A guy who was also arrested in Akure was dropped at Erin Ijesa, Osun State. They gave him N500 to get a bus back to Akure after his belt, wrist watch, shoes and wallet containing N20,000 were seized.

@PoliceNG MUST punish these terrible officers.

This INJUSTICE must not stand.
