As with the media's ginned-up panic over "Joker," the hysteria over the Trump-Kingsman video is really an expression of elite contempt for the Little People. The idea is that you deplorables are so unhinged that watching a silly video might inspire you to attack reporters.
Notice that media elites are rarely concerned about books, music, TV shows, or movies inspiring violent behavior from groups they support or feel patronizing concern for. It's always groups they despise that will supposedly be driven to murderous rage by looking at pictures.
The elites absolutely reject the notion that left-wing rhetoric, no matter how extreme, can inspire violence - even when it clearly does. The Left's favored groups are never to be treated as easily excitable or prone to violence. Only the deplorables are human hand grenades.
Also, the media has a heroic conception of itself as constantly under siege, especially in the Trump era. Since the 2016 election, they've routinely equated criticism of their work in the U.S. with the violent oppression of journalists in other countries.
The implication of this false equivalency is that the deplorables are one Trump tweet away from lynching journalists and demanding they be thrown in prison. The Little Guy is the real target of their venom, not the people who write the tweets and make the memes. /end
