Investigation began August 2017, and they tracked it via bitcoin payments.
Making a strong point about the role tech plays in protecting (or not protecting) our children. Wondering if this will serve as precedent for other more mainstream platforms (hi Facebook, YouTube).
This was a partnership between US, UK, Germany, S. Korea, and others.
Chief of IRS Criminal Investigation now saying that the scale of this ongoing problem is eye popping.
Now saying that it’s about FOLLOWING THE MONEY.
Also saying that there’s nowhere criminals can hide. They can launder, they can crypto...and they’ll be hunted down.
