Yes. It's about who is perceived as the target. Blocking roads is a PASSIVE attract on public transport/commuters. They're collateral damage so can feel like a victim, not the target.

Targeting the Tube/DLR is an ACTIVE attack on PT users. Hence why they get angry.
Because they've done nothing wrong. They've already opted for the Greenest possible option (whether that was the motive or not) so feel punished for doing the right thing already.
