What I genuinely don't get is how Boris is immune to the fear of looking like an UTTER bellend in front of his peers.

He's such a vain man.

How is he not terrified of what an absolute purple helmet this makes him look like on the international stage?
How do you walk into a summit or meeting with ANYONE on an international level after this and not know that they think you're a fucking manbaby?

It's beyond parody
Boris has just done the diplomatic equivalent of photocopying his arse at the work Christmas party.

And somehow he STILL thinks he can turn up for work tomorrow.

We're now exploring the last of the great flak towers in Berlin.

Note the attemptd to pierce the walls during the 16 days battle, when these effectively became the final redoubts. No chance. 2.5m thick reinforced concrete.

Yes. It's about who is perceived as the target. Blocking roads is a PASSIVE attract on public transport/commuters. They're collateral damage so can feel like a victim, not the target.

Targeting the Tube/DLR is an ACTIVE attack on PT users. Hence why they get angry.
Because they've done nothing wrong. They've already opted for the Greenest possible option (whether that was the motive or not) so feel punished for doing the right thing already.

Fear of Being Ignored – Athazagoraphobia

One of the very common but rarely discussed phobia.

This disorder is supposedly a fear of being forgotten, ignored, abandoned or replaced, and a “health condition” causing “anger and depression”.

Here are the Symptoms and Treatment.
Symptoms "in order of severity"
- Panic attacks
- Irregular heartbeat
- Shortness of breath
- Excessive sweating
- Slurred words or phrases
- Nausea
- Tremors in the body
Like the Truman Show Delusion, this is not an actual mental disorder (in this case, more specifically a phobia).

The American Psychiatric Association also does not recognize Athazagoraphobia as a specific phobia or a mental disorder for diagnosing in the DSM-V.
