As was always going to be likely, Johnson needs Labour votes to get his deal over the line, because DUP won't back it, and (v likely) some of the "Spartans" won't either.
And, as I observed in this thread trying to make sense of Johnson's behaviour back in the summer, Lab votes unlikely to be forthcoming unless Lab MPs are forced into a binary of "deal" or "no deal" with no "extend" option to wriggle out with:
