I got asked by a friend,

“Why does @itsBayleyWWE look so sad now?”

They were so intrigued, so I’m sharing here too...
Bayley came to NXT, ready to rock!

So bright eyed & ready to live her dream. She couldn’t believe that she’d made it this far & was freaking out that some WWE Legends she grew up idolizing, were now her peers.

#Goals
The fans loved her while the locker room dismissed her. They saw her as a fan & didn’t believe in her.

So she doubled down on her positivity & outgoing personality. She was a fighter, but more importantly to her, she was a hugger.

She was going to do things her way!
Out of a drive to make a change in a “Divas” division. Four women set out to change the way fans viewed women’s wrestling.

Their performances gave fans & women hope for a bigger, brighter future for themselves and their peers.

And thus the Four Horsewomen were born...
And they succeeded! More time for the women, a bigger stage for the women and a voice for the women!

However, out of the Four: Charlotte, Becky & Sasha were called up, leaving one behind...

Bayley...
Feeling left behind & dismissed, Bayley had something to prove!

And on a fateful night in Brooklyn, herself & Sasha Banks did the unthinkable!

On a card loaded with Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens & more, the women stole the show!

And Bayley captured the championship.
Now carrying the brand on her back, she felt a responsibility as NXT Women’s Champion however, despite her best efforts, there was someone who wanted it just a little more.

No more title, no more friends. It was her time now...to show the entire world what she could do!
She debuted on the main roster! And the crowd loved her, they were happy for her!

And in no time at all, was able to prove that she did belong by capturing the RAW Women’s Championship, validating her own beliefs.
However, as time went on, she found herself in new territory...

Despite her talent, despite her connection with the audience, she was never put in positions to succeed and showcase herself.

She once again felt like an after thought. She broke down and lost her spark.
The night in Brooklyn, she was able to form a special bond with Sasha. There was a certain magic when they were together that was undeniable.

So when both felt beaten down & broken, they turned to each other and wanted to make a difference once again...
And they did just that. Their magic was used to create more opportunities for the women. They established a new division, the Women’s Tag Team Championships were born & together, they would be the trailblazers...
Or so they thought...

Before they got started, their time was over and again, Bayley was an after thought in an effort to create new stars that “fit the mould”. That had an edge.

Sasha would leave. Bayley, alone, broken, defeated, would give it one last shot...
On her own, she was able to win Money In The Bank and capture the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

The first to hold every single women’s championship in the modern era. Quite the feat for a happy-go-lucky hugger. She made history!

But it wasn’t enough. It was never enough...
Bayley was once again an after thought as all the focus was on The Queen & The Man!

Sasha even returned after bettering herself during her sabbatical. She came back to prove everyone wrong. That more deserve to be in the conversation. But despite her best efforts...failed.
And that’s where she snapped!

Being trailblazers, winning every championship, being herself & true to her morals, inspiring children everywhere...none of it was ever enough. Not for management, not for her peers, and not for the fans.

So she sent a message loud & clear!
No more cute branded ponytail, no inflatable buddies, no cheery music...

She wanted to be herself, but herself wasn’t good enough. The cheers faded, the opportunities were never there, now she has to play by “the rules”, politics, games.

“Life sucks, and then you die!”
