Let’s talk about Virgo Venus
A lot of you seem to be curious about this placement, so if you want to better understand it in your own chart, others’, or in general, buckle up :-)
Venus is uncomfortable here, there’s no denying that. Whereas Venus is exalted, ultra-comfortable and heightened in Pisces, it is in its fall in opposite sign Virgo.
Venus is as you might know, concerned with love and luxury. In Taurus, Venus builds their love to enjoy it. Fixedness - they finish what they start and build it to last.
But in Virgo, there’s that same desire to build but the individual struggles to enjoy it because they don’t appreciate that there is an end to all the means they are exerting.
Venus in Virgo gets so carried away by the love “routine” so to speak, the cycle of being needed and giving into other’s needs, needing to feel needed... putting in effort after effort because they feel the effort, plans, and intentions towards their partner is their calling
Venus in Virgo needs to be reminded that it’s fine to devote yourself to someone but there’s a point to it, is it to show an act of love? Or because you don’t know who you are without that feeling of fulfilling other’s needs?
Venus in Virgo will do so much to hear reminders of how needed or great they are for all they do. They are at your service, literally, but it’s just the right recipe for resentment because they seldom get much in return
Love is also being loved, Venus in Virgo! We get it, you can bring a lot to the table, but why do you actively choose to serve those who don’t intend to serve you? Becoming more comfortable with receiving is essential
You have to also let your partner do things for you too. You can’t always bear the brunt of everything.
Another point to address with this placement is their fear of emoting… fulfilling your partner’s whims isn’t a replacement for communication, period.
You need reassurance, ASK for it. Don’t do things and stress on your own! Virgo Venus, you have to actively bring your needs to the forefront. I know it’s uncomfortable but you take the backseat too often. It’s healthy to speak up.
Venus in Virgo is there, thinking they’re satisfied with potential, because they hate to waste their time and don’t want to admit when they’ve done things for someone who just isn’t worth it.
And yet sometimes Venus in Virgo is doing the opposite, they have something great but won’t stop self sabotaging and critiquing their partner.
I think this stems from a lack of assurance re: their worthiness of being loved, so they project their insecurities either inwardly (hold onto partners that don’t serve them, bc they don’t believe they deserve to be cared for), or outwardly, as that heavy critique
Which brings me back to my point about communication, Virgo is mercury ruled, so you ARE capable of communication and doing it well. It’s just venus is uncomfortable here, so you have to step out of your comfort zone to bring to light your concerns and needs re: love and luxury
And a reminder it’s okay to be practical in love, it’s okay to not be lovey dovey, it’s okay to be who you are and love the way you want to! I hope this thread helps you achieve a clearer understanding of Virgo Venus and how to deal with the placement better ❤️
Would love to hear your experiences as well 💕
