Some points about #IraqProtests
Wise decision by Iraqi govt to leave the protesters in Tahrir Square the icon of Iraqi protests in #Baghdad, after its reconsider of decision (which was taken yesterday evening) to end the protests. (1)
Footage of Tahrir Square about an hour ago
Yesterday, the Iraq protest was almost fall back after the footage of killing of Asaib Ahl Haq leader in Maysan, after hours the Prime Minister decided to use the anti-terrorism forces to end the protest in Baghdad, something happen postponed it to this morning (2)
Since yesterday, statements of officers of anti-terrorism forces seems confused, they don't want to involve themselves in this, to keep their good reputation among Iraqis, which they got it during fight ISIS, they don't want to be called "Dirty Force" again as it was before (3)
Turning point unexpected to the govt & even to the protesters happened today, waves of tens of thousands of students joined the protests early morning 8:00AM, the decision to evacuate the Square wasn't implemented, it will be a scandal if a child carrying his bag may killed (4)
Students joining the protests achieved 3 things, at least in Baghdad:-
The demonstrations gained strength after it was almost fall back yesterday, the security forces stop the use of excessive force, the protests became more peaceful when they find a space 4 them in the square(5)
