Saw that lefty-Twitter was furious with @NateSilver538 and accusing him of basically being a secret member of the alt-right. Automatically (& correctly) assumed that he must be that he said something accurate that they didn't want to hear.
When you resort to accusing a reliably liberal member of the media of being a secret right-wing extremist because they say something you don't like, it really diminishes your credibility and gives cover to actual extremists.
His big crime btw was rightly acknowledging that the left was having trouble giving Trump credit for taking out Baghdadi:
