Almost all of this is wrong. We don’t let people die in the street now in America.

2) No evidence that expanding subpar coverage will improve health outcomes or reduce costs. Emergency care use actually went up under ACA despite predictions otherwise.
3) M4A isn’t Medicare, but also most people currently w Medicare have supplemental coverage (M4A would ban).

4) The reason costs are lower for many gov’t care programs is they simply restrict payer rates and level of care. That will inevitably lead to worse care and less supply of competent care. Also, freedom to choose your care decreases with one size fits all model.
Bottom line: Most Americans are happy with the quality of their care. The number that don’t have access to insurance is relatively small. Proposal is to now redo whole system to sacrifice quality for all & do nothing to reduce the cost for most allegedly 2 help that small number.
