The smarter you become, the harder it can be to empathize.

Which is why you need to allow your awareness to keep your intellect in check.

Just because you're smart doesn't mean everyone else is

OR others may be smart in a different lane

Avoid being overly analytical w/ humans
'Wait a minute bucko! You're saying NOT to be analytical?'

Don't be overly analytical.

'Why though?'

Because it makes communication skills tougher for you

Let me explain...
When you are very smart, you may have the tendency to see life predominantly thru your ego.

Your mind solves problems so well.

So you think your mind must rule all in terms of problem solving
Over-reliance on this sort of thinking engrains you further to your ego.

And your ego has you seeing humans thru a black & white lens.

Right or wrong.

My way or the high way.
Remember this, smart is completely relative from person to person.

In school, they teach you that the ones with high grades are smart.

In the real world, it doesn't work like that.
In the real world, we all have our own unique boxes.

And it is our goal to make the most of the box.

-So an engineer may be smart in terms of fixing complex circuits

-But a dancer may be smart in terms of executing complex moves

Your smart does NOT equal someone else's smart
That's what you need to get thru your head.

With the rise of the internet, different people are becoming smart in different lanes.

Which is why you need to tame your ego & start seeing life from a different lens.
I thought gossiping about celebrities was a waste of time.

But I know some YouTubers who make bank talking about that stuff.

So even if I thought it was a waste of time, does not make me the bearer of what is smart & what isn't.

In their world, they are intelligent.
Humans are complex creatures.

Black & white thinking will not always cut it.

In many cases, it will lead to short sighted judgments.

When you see your ego creating black & white statements for you, then the self awareness needs to kick in
Self-awareness is when you can see yourself from a neutral lens & 3rd perspective yourself.

It's a superpower that you need to invest in.

And you can get that superpower via:

-Meditation
-Journaling
-Admitting to your mistakes

etc
-Ego Comment: 'Most people are stupid!'

-Self Awareness Comment: 'Hm.. My way not be the only way. Let me see where these people are coming from.'

You don't need to agree, you just need to understand & learn to coexist.
-Analytical thinking is when you break things down.

-Synthesis thinking is when you see the bigger picture.

You NEED both.

However, with humans, you want to leverage synthesis thinking more often.

This helps you move with more grace in the social world
So the better you get at your craft, understand that there may be a potential for you to get more engulfed in your ego & detached from reality.

This may cause you to lose your human side.

Your compassion.

In cases like that, pause & let your awareness kick in.
The more you practice, the better you get.

Awareness rules all. Remember that.

Most people don't have awareness.

They are egotistical clowns who make blanket statements because it FEELS good.

Don't get caught in that trap.
Those people will never get ahead.

The ones who get ahead know how to form strategic relationships & work with people.

Overly egotistical people just burn bridges & leave a trail of resentment.

Like i said, don't get caut in the trap.
-Get better at your craft.

-Stay level headed.

-Empathize when it's hard.

And build your legacy.

That's the recipe of a winner.
