-Emotions come in waves.
-It's not a life sentence.
When you learn this, you can look at emotions as a 3rd party observer vs. a 1st party participant.
Keep reading this till it clicks.
Understanding this concept can change your life.
Emotionally intelligent people have mastered this.
'Detachment is THAT important?'
Yea, it is...
You work WITH your emotions rather than AGAINST them.
This melts your internal tension.
It'll ALWAYS end bad for you.
But when you learn to tame the tsunami, then you learn to ride the waves.
This is key to reaching peace.
I see the way people move at times & I'm surprised by their cognitive dissonance.
They say one thing & do something else.
Not a good look.
'What does that even mean?'
Well, your ego always tries to paint situations from your perspective.
And that can be a bad thing in the long run
You're too attached.
And one of the ways your ego tries to fool you is by using your emotions as a weapon.
When you question your ego, your ego throws dark emotions at ya
When you learn the art of detachment, you learn the ego is just bluffing.
Your emotions aren't the boogeyman.
Rather, it's just a compass.
Things that scare you are a compass of thing that you should be doing.
Things that make you happy are things that you should be grateful for.
Your emotons are just data, not a life sentence OG.
Now you are able to OBSERVE your emotions rather than PARTICIPATE with what your ego tells you to.
That's when you get the keys back to your life.
Just clouds that come & go.
But ultimately, the sky remains.
The sky is you.
Never forget that.
But then you'll feel hella hopeful for the future.
Most people never learn emotions are waves.
But luckily, you don't fall in that boat
Then detach.
Observe yourself from a 3rd party perspective.
That's the power of your consciousness.
Then decide if you're moving with tact or acting like most of the impulsive creatures out there
Emotionally intelligent or impulsive.
A future legend or simply a pawn.
Use that pause VERY wisely
Don't be the person getting played.
Rather, become the player.
