New - The top US diplomat in Ukraine Bill Taylor is willing to return to testify publicly, according to a source familiar with his thinking, making him a potential key early witness for Democrats as they shift their impeachment inquiry into a public phase

In a previously unreported exchange, Schiff asked Taylor if deal was essentially that Zelensky needed to announce investigations and he would get WH visit and security assistance. Schiff asked, "Isn't that the very definition of a quid pro quo?"
"I don't speak Latin," Taylor said
Sources also said Rs pressed Taylor about his ties to NSC official Morrison, who testifies tomorrow. They suggested it would be improper for Morrison to convey to Taylor what Sondland said about his call with Trump. Taylor said that was Morrison's job. w/@kylieatwood @jeremyherb

New - Tim Morrison told lawmakers Thursday he was concerned call transcript between Trump and Zelensky would leak and could have adverse ramifications.

Morrison was involved with discussions after the call about how to handle transcript, sources said. cnn.com/politics/live-…
Morrison has so far corroborated testimony by Bill Taylor, the top US diplomat in Ukraine, about interactions the two had regarding the president’s efforts to press for investigations, but he did deviate on some details, such as the location of an interaction, sources said.
Morrison has also been offering his opinion about what he views as right and wrong and believes the National Security Council process in regards to Ukraine was legally sound.

Following a FOIA lawsuit, the group American Oversight says the State Department has agreed to release “multiple categories of Ukraine-related records, including any communications with Rudy Giuliani” by Nov. 22
The records include communications between Pompeo, senior officials, Giuliani, lawyers Joseph diGenova, and Victoria Toensing. And State communications with anyone outside govt about Hunter Biden probe and over push to ouster Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.
This of course could be significant because State has not turned over documents to House Democrats. Witnesses have given documents to State, which won’t give them to the Hill

“During my time at the NSC, I received multiple calls from lobbyist Robert Livingston, who told me that Ambassador Yovanovitch should be fired," Croft plans to say. "He characterized Ambassador Yovanovitch as an 'Obama holdover' and associated with George Soros.“
It's unknown if Livingston's calls to the NSC were connected in any way to his work for the Ukrainian official or his firm's contact with Giuliani.

Taylor was confirmed as United States ambassador to Ukraine by the U.S. Senate on May 26, 2006 and was sworn in on June 5, 2006; he held the post till May 2009
On September 30, 2009 Barack Obama nominated John Tefft as U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.And Taylor was appointed Special Coordinator for Middle East Transitions in September 2011

In 2015 Taylor was appointed executive vice president of the United States Institute of Peace #Ukraine
Taylor become chargé d'affaires ad interim for Ukraine in June 2019, taking over the role from the deputy chief of mission, Kristina Kvien, after Marie Yovanovitch departed Ukraine. Hired by @SecPompeo
