No effort whatsoever to help passengers with long onward journeys (one guy needed to get to Totnes tonight!)
I helped a dozen passengers myself to get the Railteam papers, among them my father @JeffWorthEU

Then at last minute @db_bahn changes the platform for the Thalys that’s the next train to BXL (surprise, that - not!) meaning everyone (inc elderly and frail) troop from one platform to another
The Thalys then departs even later as a result
A bunch of those passengers have onward connections to London and beyond, meaning everyone’s going to end up on the final Eurostar to London

Passengers pay more to travel this way than to fly Berlin-Brussels or Berlin-London. The very least they ought to get is clear communications and decent passenger rights. But as so often they don’t...
