4NewsAgency is a new player in town, with a Twitter account that was only created in August 2019. It describes itself as “an independent not-for-profit news cooperative headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland”. (3/8)
In looking at their tweets and YouTube videos, it seems they’re very interested in covering events and demonstrations in Geneva about minorities in Pakistan. (4/8)
They also cover press conferences on these topics. Funnily enough, the only other media interested in covering these conferences is India-based ANI and — you guessed it — Times of Geneva! (5/8)
4NewsAgency is a “synergy” between four news agencies from Belgium, Switzerland, Thailand, and Abu Dhabi. But, which ones exactly? Well, it’s not very clear... Could it be EP Today or Times of Geneva? (6/8)
They also claim to have teams located in 100 countries. Still, they only actually give information about two offices based in Brussels and Geneva, which turn out to be co-working and virtual office locations. (7/8)
