@Rechabitearalue P6/ in China for example the worker goes out & pays $5 for a coffee. In australia the worker pays $5 for a coffee. In their OWN currency. NEITHER are cheap. Importers make mega $$ from exchange rates, not worker wages ... 😂 good lawd shearer’s should retake control of unions!!!

You would get 700. Not 1000. ATO gets 300. BUT when you do your tax return you MUST record $1000 income (not just the after tax 700 you got paid).

You have already paid $300 (the franked Credit) But still owe the ATO another $200. So you would now pay $200 to the ATO to meet your $500 tax obligation. However what if your personal rate was 19%? Anybody who has been following my #deflationary scenario remembers my #Oil chart. The bounce, we saw from end 2018 until April 2019 was a wave "B" bounce in this wave 5 of the great Ending Diagonal. We will see Oil plummet to min. 22USD pot. all the wavy to ~10USD #HZupdates
This has not come as a surprise! #AUDUSD (Inflation gauge) had for a long time been flirting with LT-trendline from 2008. This was a sign of weakness in inflation - which could only play out, if Oil dropped (like the Ending diagonal suggested) #HZupdates

Bernie's polling is decent, but that he does the 2nd-best against Trump (after Biden) is partly an artifact of name recognition. For instance, Buttigieg polls worse than Bernie vs. Trump. But Buttigieg actually has better favorables than Bernie among voters who know who he is.
It's certainly a messy relationship. Some liberals, including Bernie, have decent (though not great) polling. Some moderates don't. But favorability ratings, which allow voters to say they don't recognize a candidate, are a better way to assess this stuff than head-to-head polls.
