Friday 14 November is an important day because it is the last chance for parties to register candidates with the Electoral Commission, or withdraw them. After that the lists are frozen.

So all deals and pacts have to be finalised by then. Expect frantic horse trading!
It also means that, after 14 November:
A) Parties, eg the Brexit Party, could say they're not going to fight certain seats (they could stop campaigning there for instance) but their candidates will still be on the actual ballot
B) Parties are stuck with scandalous candidates (!)
Um, I've just been reminded that the 14th is Thursday. Sorry about that. It's definitely the deadline, though!
