@specialreports 2/ Comparisons between Chaves/Maduro's and Morales' administration and other non-democratic governments, such as the Saudi theocracy, are based on questionable methodology.
3/ Venezuela is immersed in a deep institutional crisis that goes beyond a constitutional one. It is now a crisis of governability. The last thing that we, as a world democratic "coalition", should allow is foreign intervention.

4/ It will probably get worse before it gets better. However, our experience with American "help" in Latin America is catastrophic. The USA not only "helped", but sponsored and supported Coups and righ-wing "alternatives" during crises. So about that, "thanks but no thanks".
5/ We (anti-fascists from all over the world) obviously don't condone authoritarian government measures against the people. That doesn't mean we support foreign intervention.
