MILQUETOAST #IMPEACHMENT

1. Dem leaders should have impeached Trump the minute they took the House. On ALL his abuses.

2. Short of that, they should have impeached him when the #Ukraine story broke and he was on the ropes for a day.

But what we have now is a meandering mess.
And I said so at the time. Receipts:

The racist POTUS kidnapped migrant babies to intimidate asylum-seekers.

And we're holding lengthy hearings on the details of Ukraine policy????

Why are Dem leaders so bad at this?

Here's the problem: The GOP is all about white supremacists and plutocrats, while the Democratic Party leadership is all about "let's all get along and make sure Chuck Todd and David Brooks like us."

So where does that leave the rest of America?

Screwed.
If we open our eyes for just a minute, we see a landscape of struggle, suffering, anguish, stress, fear.

We see rampant injustice, inequality, and violence.

HOW LONG WILL WE ACCEPT IT?

HOW LONG WILL WE LET THE ESTABLISHMENT NORMALIZE IT?

"Speaking before a room of wealthy liberal donors..." Obama goes after “left-leaning Twitter feeds” and “the activist wing of our party.”

As a “left-leaning Twitter feed" I say:

The Democratic Party of the Obamas, Clintons, Pelosi, Schumer have enabled plutocracy.
I am so tired of establishment Dems telling us what's NOT possible.

Yes, the system needs to be overhauled top to bottom.

Otherwise more kids will be shot. More migrants will be caged. More will go bankrupt from medical bills. More will suffer the effects of climate change.
And this is nothing new. I was outspoken in defense of progressive bloggers when the Obama White House was at odds with them over his continuation of Bush's civil liberties violations.

A) The email comes from @AlexandraChalup - a longtime @DNC operative who had also directly coordinated the Ukrainian Embassy officials and told them to help her find dirt on @POTUS.
@AlexandraChalup @DNC @POTUS A) @CNN tried to help Chalupa coverup her involvement in 2017.

Their stories made no mention of this email.

A note on #impeachment -

In a court of law, under non-presidential circumstances, impeachment is a tool litigation attorneys use to discredit the opposing side's witnesses at trial. When said witness takes the stand under oath attys. present evidence contrary to what the witness
claims. This weakens the other side's case by discrediting impeached witnesses's testimony. Once a witness has been impeached - by presentment of inconsistent testimony - the judge/jury can no longer use the impeached witnesses's testimony in reaching a verdict.
Simply put, they aren't trustworthy. In the case of Presidential impeachment that broad definition of impeachment applies, but the impeachment tool is used for a very different purpose. Under the Constitution, a sitting President cannot be tried in a court of law for anything.
