alright people. friends.. i do think of you as friends... it is time once again. wanted to get this one out in time for sacred solstice season. the theme this edition is theological vibes. third eye gear + materials episode NINE, lets check it out. its on

owen-cyclops.myshopify.com
first up, had this as my phone background for so long and have been itching to post it. one of the most classic christian art motifs, the sacred heart, with the seraphim wings. have this on a few colors. theyre all good but it looks awesome on the red, its bright like the 2nd pic
just to change up the vibe a little i also printed these on two white garments, long sleeve shirt and hoodie. i wanted to wear something white, i feel like it brings that "pure light" energy since i wear black so much so, i also have these:
next up, another one of my favorite symbols: the keys to heaven. seen on the vatican flag, in paintings of saint peter, in architecture.. in many places. here i have a gold solar one indicating heavenly divine power and a silver one indicating temporal earthly power
thats why youll often see a gold and silver one together on crests in more official stuff, by the way. theyre surrounded by various motifs indicating the heavens and the earth. this one was partially inspired by a well known bible verse, the name of which is written in the design
ngl i just posted the close up of the writing there because i think it came out rad and i havent really flexed my calligraphy muscles in a while. moving on...
two prints, first: the seven sacraments. really just felt called to make this, what should i call it, wholesome semi-esoteric looking mandalic arrangement of the 7 sacraments, after i was studying up on certain theological "basics" and had this idea. really like how this came out
sometimes i try and give things a more dark or mystical edge but, for that one, you can see with the colors, just wanted something that would bring some positive energy if you hung it up somewhere. uplifting theological vibe, i guess thats the vibe right now for me (sometimes)
okay last but not least, i have had this on deck for a minute and have been wanting to post it so badly. someone contacted me and commissioned this one (@normidwester) as a companion to the other st augustine image i made, one of my most popular images easily. this image:
@normidwester most of you probably know that i really like augustine a lot, mostly because i did the whole astrology - neoplatonic - weird stuff to christianity move, and i was also really inspired that he used to be kind of a party guy and turned it around, when i was / am trying to do that
@normidwester so for this one i re-read confessions (a book by him) and made this image of scenes from his life, pivotal or transitional moments from his story, and wove them into this image. probably one of my favorite things ive done in a while just because of the significance.
@normidwester theres him stealing pears, his moms prophetic dream, his friend getting baptized and dying, him meeting this fake guru type person named faustus, meeting a beggar, a revelation that turned him away from neoplatonism, his conversion (biggest), baptism, and "vision" with his mom
@normidwester most of the prints are 12 x 18 (the sacrament one is the only one that isnt, its 12 x 16). the augustine one also comes in a black frame if you want that. lets see other things i should cover before i wrap this up.... oh yeah one sneak peek i guess:
@normidwester was trying to get the calligraphy game going again, i posted this pic earlier today. i wanted to get some writing going down the sleeves of some gear but the test prints i got were kinda whack so, had to put that on the backburner. ill post the writing just because it looks cool
@normidwester so guess thats a teaser for whats going down behind the scenes. not to SHILL but just wanted to get these out since, people need christmas gifts right, thats just the reality, and i like the idea of enhancing peoples holidays if theyre into the vibe... i really love christmas
@normidwester note on sizes. theres a size numbers measuring chart on the shop. i highly encourage you to measure urself or get a girl to do it if youre unsure about what size to get. its rare but thats the only problem ive had after like 2 years is, sometimes people get the wrong size.
@normidwester theyre just "normal" sized shirts but i will say the large is actually large for the shirts. im tall and skinny (like 6'2) and the large is big on me. i wear the large hoodie. i dont really do returns unless something is wrong with it (very rare) just because theyre made to order
@normidwester so its not like i have a ton of them here just chillin at my spot. want people to enjoy what they get so, if youre unsure, the numbers maaaan, check the numbers, or hmu and i can help you guess if you really want.
@normidwester otherwise, lots of new followers so if anyone doesnt know basically my whole thing is trying to put as much time + energy as possible into running my odd little third eye art studio out at an undisclosed location in rural america. uplifting people via visuals + things like that
@normidwester its actually going well, i have lots of plans on how to escalate things and, the money i make from selling stuff like this really helps and all goes back into funding "the studio situation". since money is changing hands just wanna be clear about that. it fuels vibe escalation
@normidwester thats it. i love sending weird things to your phone and maybe occasionally to your house (like, if you order something, not unsolicited). lots of big plans so stay tuned... hope things are going well on your end aight thread over
@normidwester ps all this stuff is under the "new" tab on my shop and you can find that and comics and other weird things on my site owencyclops.com. as a bonus this is me with the salmon of wisdom (an actual thing look it up)
