Holmes testified today that after the call ended, Amb. Sondland told him that when it came to Ukraine, President Trump only cares about "big stuff," such as the "Biden investigation" pushed by Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.
Holmes said he was able to hear the conversation because Sondland held phone away from his ear due to how loudly the president was speaking. He told lawmakers he didn’t take notes, but that he has a clear recollection, and that he immediately told Embassy staff about the call.
