Now, I'm no Christian or preacher, far from it, but I do know the story of Sodom & Gomorrah.

So, here's a few home truths about that story, Champ, from a woman's perspective (including the bits most blokes & Christians like to omit from the story)

Genesis 19:1
Lot is sitting outside the gates of the city of Sodom, two male angels rock up, Lot urges them to stay at his place for the night bcuz Lot reckons Sodom is a pretty dodgy place, they decline. Eventually, they relented & went with Lot to his place

Later that night, so The Bible says, EVERY man in Sodom surrounded the house & demanded Lot bring the angels out bcuz they wanted to 'know' them - that's Bible speak for they wanted to have sex with them

Lot says "no way, but I'm happy to send out my two daughters"😳

Lot's direct quote is:
Genesis 19:8
"Look, I have two daughters who are still virgins. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do whatever you want with them. But don't do anything to these men; they are guests in my house , and I must protect them"

Lot didn't feel any compunction to protect his daughters.

So, @IzzyFolau I'm guessing if you & your wife ever have daughters & you find yourself in Lot's position then you'll happily send them out a crowd of men milling at your front door demanding sex? Am I right?

Anyway, let's get back to the story.

To cut a long story short, the two angels urged Lot to leave the city bcuz God was planning to destroy it.

They said if you know anyone you want to bring, find them & let's go

Lot says, well my two daughters are betrothed to two men.

Now, Gen 19:4 says ALL the men in the city, except for Lot, were gay, right?

So, that means his two daughters were betrothed to two gay men according to The Bible, Lot invited them to leave the city anyway.

Lot's two prospective son-in-laws declined, so, Lot, his wife, two daughters & the angels left Sodom.

The story goes that God destroyed the city, Lot's wife was told not to look back but she did & was turned to a pillar of stone

Oh well, that didn't seem to upset Lot

Lot & his two daughters escaped to the mountains via Zoar & lived in the mountains, just the 3 of them, for many years.

One night, one daughter wanted to get pregnant so, according to The Bible, she got Lot drunk & had sex with her father while he was asleep.

Gen 19:32 "Come on, let's get our father drunk, so that we can sleep with him and have children by him.

19:33 That night they gave him wine to drink, and the older daughter had intercourse with him. But he was so drunk he didn't know it.

Now, Lot must've been a bloody heavy-sleeping drunk bcuz I ain't ever met a man who could get it up & ejaculate & impregnate a woman without even waking up!

The other sister did the same thing the next night.

I guess consent was not a thing back then.

Again, Lot got drunk & slept through the whole thing.

The eldest daughter had a son named Moab, he went onto to lead the Moabites

The younger daughter had a son named Benammi, he went onto to lead the Ammonites

And they all lived happily ever after

From that ENTIRE story, you focus on homosexuality.

By making that story & your reverence of Lot (as a true servant of God) the basis of your world view also means that you support treating women like shit & support incest between fathers & daughters

@IzzyFolau are you saying that you revere The Bible & Lot, when clearly Lot thought so little of women, especially his daughters, that he would offer them up to a crowd of men at his door to do what they wanted with them?

Then he fucks them himself

If you're gonna follow The Bible @IzzyFolau then you've gotta follow the whole thing, you can't just cherry-pick the bits you like & use them to support your narrative.

Hell will freeze over before you say a bad word about Lot's treatment of women though 'eh?

Imagine if that whole thing happened (if it did happen) based on someone misinterpreting the word 'know' to mean 'have sex with'🤔
