One side -
says that in 2015 NYT questioned Hunter Biden and Burisma
In 2017 Politico reported Ukranian interference in our election
Is applying a legal standard to impeachment testimony

The other side thinks 4th degree hearsay about Trump's opinion "directly implicates" him
the left say Trump is not above the law but Joe Biden is because hes running for president

They think Hunter/Joe story is a conspiracy and the sworn affidavits are just part of that conspiracy
One side refuses to allow hunter biden, joe biden, alexandra chalupa, and others to testify and then gets mad that Trump doesnt want his people testifying
Both sides insist they know Trump's motives

However with the NYT, Politico, Hill, reporting on Ukraine/Burisma its safe to say at the very least Trump did think there was corruption

Even with little evidence It seems an investigation is warranted
Wolf Blitzer says if Trump has nothing to hide why not let people testify

I can ask the same thing about Schiff, the whistleblower, Joe/Hunter Biden, Chalupa, etc
Several left wing outlets have called Hunter Biden's Burisma role as "soft corruption"

Watching these hearings has made me even more angry that Tulsi supported it. She could have been the standout calling out the fucking absurdity and posturing by both sides on the issue

The Democrats opinion is that Trump was looking to get dirt on Biden

The fact is that Trump wanted an investigation in 2016 / Biden

The Republicans opinion is that Trump wanted to root out corruption

Which can you prove? Doesn't prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt
Is the Democrat opinion and interpretation of events enough to convict Trump?

I don't think so as there is reason to believe the real issue is Ukraine proving they had changed

It doesnt mean its true, it just means you can prove any of it beyond wanting an investigation
Quid Pro Quo is fine and normal if its used to weed out corruption

Thats exactly what Biden did in fact

So they need to prove Trump wanted dirt and they aren't even trying to do that
