Here is a thread on my experience so far with @ZoomCarIndia ’s ZAP program. I have been with them since September when I decided to signup for the ZAP program. The experience has been the MOST terrible of all the companies I have interacted with. Here is how:
@ZoomCarIndia Booking: Their website shows that many cars are not available. You can only book when the car becomes available. So you think the car is just a week or so away and you book. WRONG!
@ZoomCarIndia The booking terms claims that a booked car will be delivered between 15-75 days after booking (They will hold your deposit worth 1.5 months rental during this time)! I got my car after 35 days with constant followups. Otherwise, they were aiming for a delivery in 60 days.
@ZoomCarIndia Payment: Their system would not accept any of my credit cards. They took the screen shot of the payment error and assured me that they will provide me a separate payment link and that they will not levy any penalty on me while I was waiting for the link. 
@ZoomCarIndia Then the car just vanished. I called customer service, opened tickets on the app etc. They got back to me after 8 hours to tell me that they have confiscated the car due to non-payment! I received no intimation that car was confiscated.
@ZoomCarIndia I finally got the payment link & made the payment and sent them the payment confirmation. They delivered the car back. Then we took the car for an outing and the the car wont start.
@ZoomCarIndia We got the car jump started with an emergency service. In the meantime, we had requested for emergency assistance from Zoomcar which did not arrive.
@ZoomCarIndia The zoomcar emergency assistance folks arrived 4 days later to tell me that the car is not broken down but that they have immobilized the car due to non payment!
@ZoomCarIndia This is a company where no one knows what they are doing. Things happen without any notice to the users. Once the users find out, the customer service will call and reassure you that this will not happen again. They keep doing this again and again.
