THREAD We wish to issue a clarification to a tweet we made about Noam Chomsky 3 weeks ago. Then, we claimed that @quotes_Chomsky had denied July 1995 Srebrenica massacre, perpetrated by Serbian ultra-nationalists against 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men & boys.
While Chomsky has publicly acknowledged that the massacre took place, the controversy has to do with 2 aspects: his continued denial that this war crime constitutes genocide, & related support for @NatCounterPunch writer Diana Johnstone, an apologist for Serbian ultranationalism.
The @UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) found the Srebrenica massacre to be genocidal.
If we look to the Genocide Convention, we find that killings of Muslims at Srebrenica clearly violate clauses a, b, and c of Article II. icty.org/en/outreach/do…

THREAD. Let’s talk about something that the left should become more familiar with: “Campism.” This refers to a worldview which divides the globe up into competing “camps”: US/Western imperialism v. all opponents of US/West, the “anti-imperialist” camp.

One of the most notorious “campist” outlets is the "Grayzone Project," which features a constellation of “independent journalists” that carry the water for the Syrian, Russian, Nicaraguan, & Chinese states under the guise of opposing US empire.

During the past three weeks, hundreds of thousands in Chile took to the streets to protests the country’s situation, particularly the inequality in what has often been considered the most stable and one of the wealthiest countries of Latin America.
The opposition has suggested there’s a need to reform the country’s constitution, a measure supported by many within the Catholic Church, including Bishop Celestino Aos, apostolic administrator of Santiago, who said there’s “no doubt” the constitution needs to be modified.

Sunless Sea is a literary survival horror computer game by Failbetter.

Like Invisible Sun, it’s surreal fantasy, though Victorian in flavor rather than Art Nouveau-era. The two are a wonderful aesthetic match.

Images, concepts, writing flow easily between the two worlds.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
