Department of Justice Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz has accepted an invitation to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, December 11.

The IG's report will be released on Monday, December 9.

I appreciate all the hard work by Mr. Horowitz and his team regarding the Carter Page FISA warrant application and the counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.
I look forward to reviewing the report and hearing Mr. Horowitz’s testimony before @senjudiciary, where he will deliver a detailed account of what he found regarding his investigation, along with recommendations as to how to make our judicial and investigative systems better.

To my Democratic colleagues: 40 years of Iranian aggression needs to be dealt with forcefully.

Iran is:

▶️ The largest state sponsor of terrorism.
▶️ Threatening the existence of Israel by arming Hezbollah to the teeth.
▶️ Providing arms to kill Americans in Iraq.
▶️ Dismembering Syria and Yemen.
▶️ Killing their own citizens who are demanding freedom

President Trump is right to demand this regime change its behavior.

The Democratic Party’s pathetic response to the killing of Soleimani only emboldens our enemies.
I will oppose any War Powers resolution pushed by @SpeakerPelosi so as to allow this President to have the latitude he needs as Commander in Chief.

The last thing America needs is 535 Commanders in Chief. Americans elected one: @realdonaldtrump.

To those Republicans and Democrats who call the death of Soleimani an assassination — that’s nuts.
Soleimani was one of the leaders of Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism. He was actively involved in planning attacks against American military and diplomatic personnel. He has American blood on his hands.
President @realDonaldTrump as Commander in Chief has the authority and obligation to protect American forces in harms way.

He did the right thing.

Wow - the price of killing and injuring Americans has just gone up drastically. Major blow to Iranian regime that has American blood on its hands. Soleimani was one of the most ruthless and vicious members of the Ayatollah's regime. He had American blood on his hands.
I appreciate President @realDonaldTrump’s bold action against Iranian aggression. To the Iranian government: if you want more, you will get more.
If Iranian aggression continues and I worked at an Iranian oil refinery, I would think about a new career.

The House is now in recess for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Members return on December 3rd and recesses again for Christmas break on December 12th. That is the window for Pelosi to cram in all of the House needs; eight days.
On December 9th the IG report on FISA abuse and DOJ/FBI corruption will be released.

On December 11th Michael Horowitz will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

That shortens Pelosi's window if she wants the narrative.

Doug Collins said judging by the behavior of former FBI employees, the IG report seems likely to expose their illegal behavior.
Maria looked at the timeline of how George Papadopoulos was brought into the Russia investigation and asked Collins if he expects the IG report to uncover a plot to hide exculpatory evidence from the FISA Court.
Collins said that concealing exculpatory evidence is only one of the issues to be exposed by the IG report and hinted that US Attorney John Durham's investigation will reveal many more issues.

Now, such a clause would prohibit the President from granting or withholding an office based on racial identity, and, in like vein, would prohibit the Senate from withholding consent to a nomination, or granting it, on the basis of racial identity.
