I followed the Labour manifesto launch today and my main feeling is of missing being a Labour voter. I think some of the policies are sorely needed. Hopefully next election. I'm truly sorry that it has come to this (for reasons in this thread)

Like many left wing Jewish people I feel conflicted but not responsible for that conflict. I don't hate what Labour has become, or Corbyn himself. I don't think he or anyone around him is evil. I just feel sad.
Obviously, if I did believe in god, and I had said that phrase, I would have said "them" or "her". Cos you know.
I also feel deeply sad at the chasm which has opened up between individuals and groups of progressives who should have no reason for being divided, and who are weaker because of that division. I do hold the far left factionalism responsible for that, it happens wherever they go
