(1,3) IT WAS A GHOST GUN!!! Tow weeks ago, following the High School shooting in California, the gun lobby screamed that California's tough laws did not help. Why? Because the gun lobby pushed for undetectable ghost guns.

(2,3) Once gain, weakening gun laws nationally are to blame. Last year, I worked with others in the gun violence prevention movement to deal with ghost guns. Unfortunately, this administration, through Sec of State Pompeo has been working to expand the reach of ghost guns.
(3,3) This shooting is what we were warning about. This was preventable and this is directly the fault of the gun lobby and this administration. While we have been fighting this in the courts, this will require legislative work in the states and in DC to slow it down.

(1,4) I firmly believe that if businesses do not get behind doing something about gun violence, they will be forced to make payouts like this for not protecting customers and employees.

(2,4) My daughter was killed at school and holding public agencies accountable is almost impossible and they are capped on payouts. However, businesses have no such limits and if we start suing them, the cost of gun violence will increase to society and that will force change.
(3,4) I firmly believe that the victims of this bridge collapse deserve every dollar that they will receive and that this payout will force change to prevent something like this from happening again. It is time for us to do the same with gun violence.

(1,2) A little history on this. Every year, for Jaime's dance recital I used to be a part of the Dancing Dads and for me, it was a highlight of my year to do this and finish the dance with our daughters.
(2,2) Last night, with Jaime on my shoulders, I decided it was time to do another Dancing Dad performance. My dancing sucks, I do not feel a beat and everyone else always moves the wrong way from me, but that was always part of the fun for me. I hope you enjoy.

(1,3) Regarding the debate last night, I am so thankful that we were able to see candidates with different ideas on how to deal with gun violence, but who all have a desire to deal with it, debate and argue for what the best plan for America looks like.
(2,3) It is a good thing that you have @BetoORourke and @PeteButtigieg debating policy. America will hear both visions and choose. It is a good thing that we see the passion of @CoryBooker reminding us of why we must have this conversation and reminding us about licensing.
(3,3) And I am thankful for @JoeBiden mentioning the repeal of PLCAA. For me, this is an often overlooked but critical part of combatting gun violence. Ultimately, the ability to hold manufacturers accountable may turn into the most important thing we can do.

It seems an independent auditor came to Abu Salim today looking into UN activities. The guards told detainees in advance not to mention that they haven't been fed for months (some of their families are sending them money to buy food with instead, which guards take a cut from).
