Over the past couple of years AIMCO has been angered by employees leaving and going to work at ATRF. How angry I am not sure. I believe the current situation with ATRF is partially caused by AIMCo not wanting to compete for (highly specialized) labor.

"We can't compete so we need a monopoly on clients and specialized labor" is how that conversation would have gone. Jason, Jason, and Travis are probably less into capitalism than they let on. #ethics #chickenhawk

In the institutional investment industry consultants exist who verify the results of investment managers to aid in selection decisions. Again, in my experience, investment managers are prone to exaggerating claims.

We could hire one of these consultants to examine data and help the GOA make the most cost effective decision about AIMCO...if only there was someone in the GOA who was independent and specialized... in making value for money decisions for Albertans... #OAG #wedo #hmm
