"the deep sense of insecurity" is not something to be dismissed but something to focus on as this has been amplified across many religious and social collectives within the UK. It's why a collective response, a manifesto for everyone is needed ->
As Martin Luther King said "the two pillars of democracy are workers' and civil rights" ... both of which in the US had common history in the abolition of slavery (i.e. the Knights of Labour gave rise to workers' rights movement) ...
... it is important not to dismiss others but to listen, to include, to engage and to recognise past failings. I'm really proud that Labour is doing this with the race and faith manifesto along with the progressive attitudes in the general manifesto. This is encouraging.
