I thought this was a pretty interesting op-ed, particularly this simple advice:

I think that's pretty sound! Too often the lens for all analysis of the Dem primary and messaging is ideological: left vs center, Medicare for All vs Public Option, etc..

But even more important than a politicans specific positions are *what they emphasize.*
You can focus on and emphasize health care, education and jobs in a centrist way or a left/liberal way, but the emphasis really does matter. I think that's part of what's so smart/essential about the Green New Deal as a messaging and framing device. It centers jobs and investment
