When the Supreme Court ruled his conduct unlawful he threatened to abolish it. When Channel 4 insisted on him appearing in the Leader's debate he threatened to abolish it. When Parliament threatened to defy him he closed it down. Johnson really can't abide challenge, can he?
Mind you, if I'd written a Manifesto that said: "free markets... can protect the planet" I think I'd be pretty worried about appearing in a debate on climate change.

Poverty isn't just - just! - about sometimes going hungry. It chips away at your dignity. It erodes your freedom. It undermines your self-worth. We are spending billions on a Brexit - and will lose many billions more - that will hit the poorest hardest. Shame on us all.
Here is what the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights said about the effect Brexit on the poor.

In the nine years the Tories have been in power there have been eight fatal terrorist attacks in the UK. If the Tories must politicise Friday's tragedy, if they need someone to blame for Khan's release, they need not look far. They had time to act but did not.

This election is so hard. Corbyn is the soil in which anti-semitism has flourished. He has ignored pleas from friends of Labour to act on it. Some of those around him are - pretty much - corrupt. Labour's WASPI policy is (another) massive regressive transfer from young to old.
But, even those (like me) who worry about what Corbyn's spending plans mean, and are aghast at how little Labour (my own Party) seems to care for the fears of Jews, know that Johnson has revealed himself as an Erdogan, an Orban, a Trump who will set fire to all I hold dear.

I think if we read a story about another country where a national political leader threatened to pull a broadcaster’s licence because he didn’t like their coverage, we know what our reaction would be. buzzfeed.com/alexwickham/bo…
You can make criticism of whether or not C4 is right to empty chair the PM, replace with an ice statue, whatever. But the response from political leadership shouldn’t be that.
Suspect, like many of the other constitutional threats this Number 10 has made, it’ll be hollow but sometimes the threat is the damaging thing.

– one adviser is threatening to take the government to an employment tribunal
– several have lodged complaints about their salary packages
