She's a faker in the era of authenticity. Her own father condemned her pandering.
She came across as nasty & was the least liked top-tier.
Good piece. But this isn't deep.
Every campaign for POTUS must start with a justification.
Voters didn't know who she was or what she stood for. Maybe she didn't, herself.
That's a poll-tested fake. We live in the era of authenticity.
It flopped BC her actions indicated it wasn't real.
Again, none of it was real and voters aren't as stupid as the political elite in this country believes them to be.
What made her "the" candidate for this moment?
Anyone?
No one knows.
Bush 2000: Return integrity to the Oval Office, ironically in front of a nationalist backdrop.
Bush 2004: He's kept us safe.
Obama 2008... Easy
Obama 2008: Hope during economic turmoil and Change from the never-ending war trajectory.
Obama 2012: "Forward" not backward to vulture capitalism and plutocrats (Romney).
Trump 2016: Also very easy, though big media still cannot figure it out.
Meaning, someone or several competitors would need to implode for her to gain any real traction.
