Well, the people have spoken and, in accordance with their wishes, I present…

The Complete* Correspondense of Richard Burgon, MP

*All the ones I could be bothered to find.
It started with Richard explaining Labour's Brexit policy. Image
Which led to the *actual* Richard tweeting, to clarify that it wasn't him.

Just imagine that. Having to say my nonsense isn't real, because you're so poorly thought-of that people might think it was.

(Still my proudest Twitter moment, btw) Image
Moving on - Richard on Assad and his WWJ(eremy)Do bracelet.

Sorry for the font. That was a mistake. Image
As MP's desert Labour, our hero suffers from doubt (or maybe too many cabbage-surprises) Image
And as they for the Independent Group, Richard is forced to confront that democracy itself is under threat. Image
But triumphs await, as Theresa May invites Jeremy to work with her, to find a way forward on Brexit. Image
Sadly, there were suggestions that Richard had said that Zionism is the enemy of peace, and he was forced to deny it. Image
But his denial wasn't given the credence it deserved…especially not when video of him actually saying it emerged. Image
Then there were the EU elections, which caused nothing but worry for our "hero". Image
Then there was the suggestion that Labour could gain another 70 Burgons. A worrying and confusing prospect. Image
Bonus Tweet! Jeremy explains to Richard why it's really important for Labour to negotiate a good deal with the EU, in a short conversation that Joseph Heller is too dead to sue me over. Image
Things get more upbeat, when no less a luminary than Len McClusky described Richard as "Young and talented" Image
And, for completeness, we end with Richard's dreams of getting his very own battle-bus. Image
To be continued…(unless voters in Leeds see some fucking sense)
A message of hope, from the champion of Leeds. Image
Richard still struggling to believe that this didn't deliver a Labour landslide.

A future nearly-leader writes. Image
Richard Burgon senses a bright future ahead… Image
A very merry Christmas from the MP who's always picked to play a donkey in the HoC nativity play. Image
And, they're off! Richard Burgon officially announces he's running for deputy leader of what's left of the Labour Party. Image
My apologies that my missive is basically just a paraphrasing of the one Richard's actually launched his campaign with.

Still nothing in the post from @PrivateEyeNews. I think I pitched myself too high at £6.50 per letter. I'd have settled for that per year.
As the NEC finalises the rules for the 4 month marathon that is the Labour leadership contest, Richard is out of breath after sprinting the first 100 metres. Image
